What is your pricing structure?
- Due to the variations in document quality and condition, an on-site assessment is necessary in most cases. A secure data professional will take a look at your documents and offer a price based on the aforementioned attributes.
In most cases, a sample of your documents will be scanned for free and a proposal will be offered based on the results of that sample.

Will my files be available during scanning?
- Clients will have access to all files as they are being scanned. If client has a need to access any file while in the possession of Secure Data, they can be made accessible in a couple of business hours. They can be delivered in a variety of ways. A fee will be charged, depending on what method is chosen
#1 They can be scanned (if they have not already been) and posted to the clients FTP folder.
#2 If the files are small enough, they can be scanned and emailed.
#3 They can be faxed, if acceptable to the client.
#4 In rare cases, they can be couriered to the client if originals are needed.

Do you do document destruction?
- Yes, we provide that service, the normal fee is $.28/lb. Volume discounts may apply.

Do you do digital storage?
- Yes, we can supply digital storage after the scanning is compete for clients who do not have the capability to store themselves, or for clients who wish to have a safe redundant alternative to storing the documents in their own facility.
This service may also apply to those who just wish to have a place to store their daily, weekly, or monthly backups.

Do you pick them up?
- Yes. Files within 150 miles from either Sioux Falls or Mitchell, South Dakota are picked up for free if the minimums are met. Outside of these boundaries, a mileage and labor fee could be applied.
This fee is negotiable depending on volume of documents to be scanned.

What is your Pre-Scanning/Sales Process?
- After contacting Secure Data, a secure data professional will conduct an on-site assessment and offer a price based on the condition and volume of documents.
In most cases, a sample of your documents will be scanned for free and a proposal will be offered based on the results of that sample. This assessment will give Secure Data the insight needed to give a fair and true estimate.

How are the documents delivered back to me?
- CD, External Hard Drive, DVD, or FTP.
Delivery method is normally dependent on the size of scanned document files.

What format can I get the files saved in?
- PDF, or PDF Searchable Text, JPEG, TIFF or many other formats are available. Depending on format, additional fees may apply if conversion time is needed.

What is your turn around time?
- Secure Data can scan up to 120,000 logical 8.5 x 11” images a day if the files are in relatively decent shape.
A custom plan and timetable can be established for any client based upon their needs.
